It is no secret that the worlds of public housing and intimate partner violence often merge, very often, tragically. In response, Congress has expanded the housing protections available to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in the VAWA reauthorization of 2013, and with those changes came protocols and forms you need to know. This presentation will review the background and relief available under the Violence Against Women’s Act, who it applies to and the necessary forms to guide you in your work with survivors of violence.
