\nUSDA Seeks Applications for Funding to Help Rural Towns Strengthen <\/strong>
\nHousing and Economic Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWASHINGTON, July 8, 2025 \u2013 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development
\ninvites applications for grants to provide strong rural communities the leadership and technical
\nknow-how to keep growing.<\/p>\n

The funding is being made available through the Rural Community Development Initiative<\/a>
\n(RCDI) program for fiscal year (FY) 2025. This program awards grants to qualified intermediary
\norganizations to deliver financial and technical assistance that helps recipients build capacity to
\ncarry out projects related to housing, community facilities, and community and economic
\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n

The deadline to submit electronic applications via Grants.gov is no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern
\nTime on August 7, 2025. Paper applications must be received by 4:00 p.m. local time on
\nAugust 12, 2025.<\/p>\n

The Trump-Vance Administration and Secretary Rollins prioritizes focus on homegrown
\nsolutions and encouraging self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and local partnerships.
\nThis is about investing in people, not just projects. USDA is helping communities plan,
\nprioritize, and implement initiatives that fit their unique needs.<\/p>\n
