This guidance includes information on the phase-in hardship relief provision as detailed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2023\/02\/14\/2023-01617\/housing-opportunity-through-modernization-act-of-2016-implementation-of-sections-102-103-and-104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HOTMA final rule<\/a>, HOTMA-compliant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/OCHCO\/documents\/2024-04hsgn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tenant Selections Plans<\/a> at Management and Occupancy Reviews, and use of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/Housing\/documents\/Rent_Override.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rent override function<\/a> in TRACS 202D up until the newly established July 1, 2025 compliance date.<\/p>\n<p>The FAQs are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/Housing\/documents\/HOTMA_FAQ_Final_12_5.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HUD&#8217;s Office of Multifamily Programs sent out the following information on December 6, 2024: HUD&#8217;s Office of Multifamily Programs has developed a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with respect to the implementation of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA).
