{"id":29480,"date":"2024-05-30T12:05:01","date_gmt":"2024-05-30T16:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.carh.org\/?p=29480"},"modified":"2024-05-30T12:05:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-30T16:05:01","slug":"hud-reminder-hotma-may-31-deadline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carh.org\/hud-reminder-hotma-may-31-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"HUD &#8212; Reminder: HOTMA May 31 Deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>On May 30, 2024, HUD&#8217;s Office of Multifamily Housing Programs sent out the following information:<\/em><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Owners and Agents,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Please be advised that MFH Owners\u2019\u00a0 Tenant Selection Plans (TSPs) and Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) Policies and Procedures must be updated and made publicly available by May 31, 2024, as stated in\u00a0<\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/OCHCO\/documents\/2023-10hsgn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notice H 2023-10<\/a><\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/OCHCO\/documents\/2024-04hsgn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Notice H 2024-04<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0which outline the requirements for compliance with Sections 102 and 104 of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA). The updated TSPs and EIV Policies and Procedures must reflect HOTMA rules and discretionary policies, which can be found in the HOTMA Implementation Notice (<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/sites\/dfiles\/OCHCO\/documents\/2023-10hsgn.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notice H 2023-10<\/a><\/strong>)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.
