The guide will help people determine if their project is subject to BABAA and explain how to document compliance.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">RD\u2019s implementation\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usda.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/usda-rd-adjustment-period-waiver-approved-aug-4-22-with-comment.pdf#:~:text=The%20Rural%20Development%20%28RD%29%20mission-area%20of%20the%20U.S.,communities%2C%20residents%2C%20businesses%2C%20and%20the%20economy%2C%20such%20as%3A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">waiver<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for BABAA expired Feb. 3, 2023. All non-Federal organizations receiving RD financial assistance for infrastructure projects are now required to exclusively use iron, steel, manufactured products and construction materials manufactured in the United States.
