~ Joshua Ogle, 2025 Scholarship Recipient<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The CARH Scholarship Foundation is a separate 501(c)3 entity from CARH that provides college scholarships to exceptional students who reside in CARH-member properties. The Foundation was created in 2005 to promote education and expand opportunities for residents of affordable rural housing. All scholarships (except for Graduate School applicants) are applied to up to four years (eight semesters) of undergraduate or vocational\/trade school education. Graduate School recipients&#8217; scholarships are applied to up to eight semesters of graduate schooling.<\/p>\n<p>Current scholarships are $2,000 per semester for up to eight semesters. (From 2006-2015, scholarships were $1,000 per semester. From 2016-2022, scholarships were $1,500 per semester.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #006338;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">James L. Poehlman Scholarship<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #006338;\"><strong>First Recipient in 2006<\/strong> <\/span>&#8211;\u00a0In honor of James L. Poehlman of T&amp;C Associates of Middleton, Wisconsin. Founding member of CARH, former board member, former chair of the Owners &amp; Developers Committee, former co-chair of the Aging Portfolio Committee, former Advisory Trustee member, and 1998 CARH Member of the Year.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Gordon L.
